Louise Turnbull Piano Tuition

She is so kind and helpful and understanding, she’s so qualified in what she does, she really makes sure that what you want to achieve with piano is at the forefront of what your learning and I couldn’t recommend anyone better I am 16 and she has helped me so much with piano.

I started piano lessons seven years ago but because of the pandemic needed to find a new teacher able to give lessons online. Three years ago I started with Louise Turnbull and it worked perfectly well. She gave me the confidence I needed at my age to continue online and made lessons so enjoyable. She is so friendly and I feel at ease. She explains things very well and is patient. I am pleased to say I have since met her, and she is such a lovely person. I have made great progress and would highly recommend Louise.

When I was a boy my parents made me do piano lessons I did that from the age of 8 until I was 13 I reached grade 6 but in those days it was only classical music and I wanted to play jazz so I gave up. I am now 75 years old and after losing my wife 7 years ago about 4 years ago bought a piano and started lessons with Louise. I have now reached the stage I was at 13 but play music from Scott Joplin to Bohemian Rhapsody I would not hesitate recommending her anyone of any age.

Louise has been my piano teacher for many years. I have learned how to play and read music to Grade 4 level. Louise is so patient, and encouraging. I started from very little musical knowledge in my 50s and she has taught me so much. Every lesson gives me a boost to carry on practicing through the week. I would recommend Louise to any beginner she’s so knowledgeable and full of great ideas to improve piano skills. As well as the formal Grade pieces Louise also includes modern, popular songs too. Great fun, and she helped me achieve my dream of playing the piano.

Louise was absolutely amazing building my confidence. I hadn't played the piano for about 30 years so i was very nervous, she made me feel at ease very quickly. She taught me a variety of different music, so it kept it fun . I was able to practice at home minimally around working and home life. It was important to me to have no pressure and for it to be a fun activity for myself and it was certainly that!
I highly recommend Louise if you want to learn the piano or improve existing skills.
